I'm learning minute after minute new functions of the software. It's extremely powerful. I don't know how the programmers could have thought to something so complex and so advanced if I'm burning my brain to understand it!

Guys, I have been working on several triple flight mode ini file for the Devo 10 for all my helis. For the 200 SRX this is basically three scaled mixes within each of the blades flight modes. Aim is to tame the thing right down so guys can fly and learn without drilling it into the deck and can with a flick of a switch up the flight model and at the third level are pretty well at the blade defaults.

This is my first try at the AR7200bx. It works, but all I have done is low test hovers so far. (partly due to weather)

Always check for reversed controls! I don't have stock servos so you may need to reverse something.

Hi all,

I think a lot of you have already heard about the Blade 350 QX which should be soon available.

I’m not sure to take one, but in the doubt I decide to make a model config for my radio based on the manual ( here ).

Here is the information I found:

Hello everyone,

Just recently picked up a Devo12s and uploaded Deviation firmware, so far my only RC is a Blade 350 QX Quad. I made this config/layout to utilize the blade basically as it is originally supposed to be configured.

Very basic template for a stock mCP X. Includes Flight mode switch functional, and throttle cut via the GEAR switch. It's also pretty soft around the center of the sticks. No dual rates or gyro settings (mCP X has non-adjustable gyros anyway). This will more than likely require some adjustment depending on how well your swash is centered and all that. Should get ya started thought. Enjoy!

Blade NanoCPX/130X - Ultra Beginner Settings

This model is different than my Beginner Settings model posted on this web site. It is even tamer and will hover at about 1 line above the half stick throttle mark. I made this model for the beginner who is flying a CP helicopter for the first time. This model is made just to hover and fly around.

I just made some models from scratch using the Standard Mixer.

One model is for the Devo 7e only.

The other model is for the following transmitters: DEVO 6/6S/8/8S/10/12/12S

The Blade CP models I recommend you adjust the Throttle Curves, Pitch Curves, DR/EXPO, and Pitch Travel (only for some models) according to what model Blade CP helicopter you have.

That's better to do it with a blank profile, don't worry if aileron & elevator channels are swapped, that's normal (weird channels order on DBUS), calibrate like that, it is fixed in my profile.

Hello,

I have modified my DJI Phantom. First I Removed the stock RX module, and replaced it with the RX1202 I got with my Devo 12S. I Then added the WK-CTL01-D telemetry module. The included 4 temp sensors, I wrapped 1 under each motor. Ran the voltage sensor to the main flight pack. Also added the WK-GPS module. All fit nicely under the lid without any trouble.

This model was made by Rambosmurf which sent me the model.

I converted it to the V4 firmware and added my custom GUI.

Edit: 2-18-2014

The model has been updated. The new model name is Model1_FlipFPV_V2

The Quad is running the Crius AIOP V2 Board with GPS and MegapiratesNG software.

Hi Guys,

here is a Model.ini for The H101 - but this one is a bit special. I did this for using this quad (and maybe others in this style as well) as a 3D trainer, for train the inverted flight views.

While flipping it to inverted mode, the Quad negates its Controls by itself - not good for beeing a trainer.

So my Devo 10 and Super CP arrived yesterday. I only got to give the Super CP a quick hover test, as the only open space in the house with nothing fragile was about 6ft square :P .

I then flashed Deviation to my transmitter and set about configuring the mixers for the Super CP. It took a little while to get used to but I'm getting the hang of it now. This firmware is great, you can make any channel do just about anything you could want.

issues with nano qx 3d model file

hey there

I'm trying to set up my nano qx 3d on my devo 8s, but I'm having trouble getting it to work properly. I currently am using the fmode switch to change between the different flight modes but instead of having 3 settings its acting like it only has 2. also I set the gear switch to be the flip switch but it does not work at all for me. anyone have any thoughts?

JJRC1000 questions

I'm a noob with ini files.

Below is a bit of the .ini for my JJRC1000. Channel 5 makes the LEDs turn on or off. If I remove all the lines for channel 5 from my ini file (and give it no information about channel 5) then once bound the quad's default behavior is for the LEDs to slowly blink on and off. So therefore: the quad has three settings for its lights: on, off, and blink.

As some of us are now successfully controlling our X11 quads with Deviation modded Devo controllers using the SymaX protocol, I went looking for an official “model config” thread here. Sorry if one ALREADY exists, in which case this should go there. But I couldn't find one, so I'm starting one.

Starting a thread for this model, which uses the SymaX protocol, which is available (as of now) in the nightly builds (but not the 4.01 release).

My config attempts to push the Yaw rate on this slow Yaw model. The X12 yaw doesn't benefit as much as the X11 model's yaw rate does to DeviationTX custom controls.

I am using the RC Loggers OneLink module piggybacked on my 7E (via training port) to fly the RCL Xtreme brushless quad. I followed the instructions for setting it up, and that went routinely. The setup includes a “Learning” routine where I start with a fresh blank airplane template and then operate each input in sequence, and “learning” happens. This is my first contribution and I am just a newbie with these mixer settings, so everything is 'simple'. The DR/Expo and anything else were not changed from the default template.

Hi,

here's a working (at least for me) config for the V911 and the Devo7E.

rototophe in WL Toys - V911

A working V911.BMP vor Devo7E is inside this forum. Just search :)

My setup is heavily inspired by the configs above. But i've made some modifications / changes, especially regaring the 7E (and some changes to the Reverse-Settings).

Hello,

here is my setup for the V939.

to bind the V939 you have to do some hardeware modifications on the transmitter, described here:

devo to flysky

Expo & Dualrate on mix 0,1,2.

works good for me and I hope for you too!
