How about changeable skins without PC?

I just have seen FDRs b/w-skin (for Devo8) and thought about this:
what if I could change the skin on the field by selecting one in the gui? It can be useful to have (at least two) different skins in the tx e.g for in- and outdoors, sunny, dark...
It may be realized by different media directories to read the files from. Renaming the dirs (and if necessary rebooting the tx) might be another way.
I know that I can change the skins with my PC, but not so easy on the field. I would prefer a comfortable and easy solution.
If requested I would open a proposal/enhancement request on bitbucket.

You talk about 800kB/skin. Not small...
There were two greater files: 15normal.fon and devo8.bmp. The second one will be frequent subject of change for a skin, the fonts may not.
Compressing is certainly no solution, nor will the filesystem support links, I assume.
Having at least two different as deewee8 proposed would be a great step.
