Today I read the following post.

He said about flight time of mini cp as follow.
"1:25 minutes flight time with the telemetry enabled and 3 minutes flight time with the telemetry inhibited."
I did a test using my devo 8s with deviation.
Telemetry on: 2:15 minutes flight time (turnigy nanotech 300mAh 35C)
Telemetry off: 2:30 minutes flight time with the same battery.
Not much different.
So my question is that when I turned off telemetry function in protocol menu, will mini cp also turn off telemetry function?
