walkera 2601 protocol - new problem with 2.1

I know the 2601 protocol is the most hated of the codes but a new problem has developed after my 2.1 install. Using both 5+1 and 6+1, the ch3 throttle output is causing the rudder servo to move as if it is mixed to throttle. This does not show as motion on a bar graph for channel outputs but the rudder servo does move when moving the throttle stick. I can work around this by setting the throttle mixer to none and using ch 6 or 7 mixer to assign source to throttle. I did not have this problem in any previous deviation builds.

You wrote you did not have this problem before. Did you use the same config? Or may it be possible that there is some torque compensation in the rx? I found the Walkera rx which are produced more or less for one model (esp. for fbl) having some functions implemented which are not controllable by the tx. This might be one.

No it has to be in the 2.1 build. I did not have this problem with 1.8 or 2.0 builds. I did a reformat after the dfu upgrade and only copied in old model files.

The 2601 protocol is terrible.
I think I forgot to zero out the thr<->Rudder mix which explains this behavior. File a ticket on bitbucket and I'll look into it.

That's what I was thinking too PB. I will post on bitbucket this weekend. Thanks again for your hard work. I used to forget to zero out the same mix on my 2602 tx all the time. Other than that my 2601 protocol has logged hundreds of hours now and is performing flawlessly!
