Buying things from China is an effort in patience
I would be very surprised if I get it before the end of April. Even then, I do not know when I will have time to investigate it. You can be sure I will update as soon as I have something to say.

you'll not have any problems with Terence, really is a sound guy. Used him past few years. Shipping to UK little over a week.
Once i ordered wrong RX it came and noticed then it was wrong. So contacted him right away he sent right one saying post it back. Well weeks past and my parcel ended up back on my door step. I sent payment for rx with PAYPAL him just sent it back saying all is good.
Saying all that you know you going to wait LOL
PS was hopelessly damaged Wonderful postal service in UK, didn't even leave UK!

I got my F7 today. I opened it up and it uses an STM32F103RBT6 like the Devo7e.
It only has 512kbit of off-chip flash (that is only 64 kBytes which is possibly going to be too limiting to support multiple protocols)
It also has a chip labeled 'IA911 L0932A' which I don't know the purpose of.
There is also a LM1881M which is used for synchronizing a composite video, so we can assume the output is an analog overlay.
So this guy may be pretty tough to get working with Deviation. I think I'll probably actually spend some time flying it before I break it

Hey guys,
most of the forum users are no native English speakers, but this is the language most people can understand.
I really would appreciate that posts do not exclude a large amount of the users because only little people will understand German. To take the effort to find English words is also a sign of respect to the international supporter community.

While I have my Devo F7, as I menitioned above, I am discouraged by the minited hardware. Getting Deviation to run on the F7 will be really challenging, and will require several tradeoffs I'd rather not make. So I haven't put any effort into it yet. I will eventually start work on it, but probably not until after the next release.

On the unrelated topic of languages.
I am open to creating sub-sections for specific languages, but as I am a dumb American and only speak the one, I would be personally unable to provide help in any of them. I also would be unable to police our policies, including treating everyone with the utmost courtesy, no spamming, and no discussion of piracy, which does make it harder.
Personally, I'm not sure it is a great use of our resources. I believe there are RC forums for various languages where these things could be better discussed, but if there is an interest in it here, I'd be happy to consider it.

Hi PhracturedBlue,
I think that any benefits in having multi-languages forum subsections would be greatly exceeded by the drawbacks of them:
- multi-languages moderation need to have a designated moderator for each subsection (and I would hate to see deviationtx.com closed and you guys sued to hell because some copyright infrigement has been done in Romansh)
- a problem solved, a question asked in a language could not benefit to the other languages. So it means a big dilution of efforts from the community and a walled off serie of small communities instead of a bigger united one
- even very big specialized forum (like RCGroups) do not have localized subsection and you will find there a lot of people from around the world whose native language is not English, but take the time to read and express themselves in English.
In conclusion, and as a French guy, so a traditional enemy of the English
, it hurts me to say it, but keep the forum in English so everybody can benefit from it. Merci !
