First off,.. LOVE IT!!! Especially the low batt warning, lol.
There are a couple of things I am wondering about. For the countdown timers, my only options for switch, are None, or Ch3. I have my Gear switch unassigned, and would like to bind the gear switch to the timer. Is there a way I can make it my timer switch again?
This one is a bigger deal to me. I wish I could change how, when I turn on throttle hold, (RUD DR) my ch6(pitch) changes from its pitch curve to straight up -100 to 100. This in turn makes the servos snap pitch to -100% when I use throttle hold. Is there a way to change this?
Attached is my setup, if that helps

For timer, I think it's possible with Advanced Mixer only.
For pitch curve, I think you need deactivate Throttle Hold for Pitch curve. Or change pitch curve for Throttle Hold state to any curve you need.

Vlad is right in both cases.
While playing around I noticed that the values displayed are not the expected. I have loaded a new model, changed to standard and loaded the 6Ch-template.
I tried to play with the issues jvulte mentioned and suddenly came to this:
This is obviously wrong. When you change the "H" value the graph changes as expected, but when you change the "M" value it also changes the H-point...
When I first looked at the curves everything was fine. I don't know when it changed.
I will file a ticket on bitbucket for this.

I am unable to reproduce this behavior on the emulator after following what you've got above. It probably means some variables are getting corrupted, so if you can document step-by-step from a clean model exactly what you pressed so I can see it, it would definitely help

I get the same result as above (Devo8).
1) loaded a new model,
2) changed to Standard GUI,
3) loaded the 6Ch-template.
I'm not shure it is correct to load Heli 6Ch-template with Standard GUI.
at template: curvetype=5point
at Standard GUI: 9point

It is very easy. I cloned your actual repo (parent: 1582:1ae61a3d88c3 tip (Fix default icon assignments. Fixes #319) in a new directory so all files were created new, ran "make TARGET=emu_devo8 WINDOWS=1" and started the emu.
Then I took a new model, switched to standard mixer gui, loaded the 6-ch-template (
) and looked at the throttle curve.
I have made a screen video where you can see this:
When you look at the video you will throw your hands up in horror... I have realized yet what I have done and I know now that it was wrong.
My fault, maybe, but this is a way which is not suppressed from the gui - so I will not stay the last who tries it. Choosing a template when the standard gui is selected should only allow the "Heli/Standard GUI" template (or the mode should be reset to advanced).
EDIT: This will be my destiny: every time someone is faster than me...

Back at what I was wondering before, I have become more familiar with the system now. When using STANDARD mode, enter the PITCH CURVE menu. NORMAL,IDLE UP 1, IDLE UP 2, THROTTLE HOLD so here I can change the pitch curve to whatever I want when throttle hold is on. Be it, straight 0 across the board to try and save servos, or -60 to +60 to practice Auto rotations. Thanks again for my DEVIATION!!!!
