DfuSe will not start up was created by birwin353
title says it all. I am running win7 64. I downloaded and installed DfuSe 1.7 and 1.5 neither will boot up. I get the thinking "spinning ring" for like 20 seconds then it stops and nothing happens.

This has been discussed a few times on the forum, search the forum for further ideas.

However the conclusion to date seems to be the USB driver that is not loaded due to a clash with other USB devices on the PC.

Try removing all USB devices, de-install their drivers, boot clean, reinstall Dfuse and try running it again

Thank you for a fast response. I just tried this and when I rebooted it loaded all my USB drivers back up again.

Unplug every USB device connected to the computer. Then start dfuse and connect the TX. That's the only way it works for me.

To prevent the reloading you have to unplug all the USB devices and only plug in the USB cable to the Devo TX.

I am running on a laptop and have no devices pluged in, the ones that are reloading seem to be system drivers for the USB. I also loaded v1.4 which i am told should work but does not. I am at a loss

If you didn't already run DFuse with admin rights or in XP SP3 compatibility mode.

Edit: 1.4 is what I used to use. You don't need install it.

This is how I run mine:

Devo 10 + 4in1
Spektrum Dx9
FrSky Taranis + TBS Crossfire

If you are desperate, you can install the Deviatiuon-Uploader i wrote. It does work in Windows, butis text only.
To use you need to getthe jar file here:
www.deviationtx.com/forum/7-development/...-testers-for-usbcode

Then install zadig.exe:
code.google.com/p/libusb-winusb-wip/down...etail?name=zadig.exe

Then plug in your tx in programing mode.

Then start zadig.exe (in admin mode) and select the STM32 device and install the driver

Now you can follow the instructions in the above post to install the dfu (works with both Deviation and Walkera's firmware)

You can rmeove the driver through the Device manager once installed.

I understand the confusion, snd if computers aren't your thing, I recommend holding off on installing my software. While it works, it isn't really ready for use on Windows machine due to the difficulty to install. If you come back in a couple of weeks, I should have something much easier to use.
