Recommended sw version for Devo 8s + Mini CP

My situation:
- I have Devo 8s (version 0.9A) and Mini CP
- I would like to use DSM2 receivers also

Please recommend me:
1. stable version for Devo 8S (2.1.1 ?)
2. original-like config for Mini CP (compatible with the recommended sw version)

The are dozens of topics about Devo 8 or Mini cp, I'm confused.
