Axe 100CP doesn't get full throttle was created by Nez
I've attached the .ini file for my Axe 100CP. I am having problems with the throttle on a Devo 8s with anylink. I also have the rtf controller Tactic TX610. The throttle seems to go much faster with it. I'm pretty new to all of this. Thanks in advance.

Just for fun I suggest you try binding the Axe 100CP using the "J6PRO" protocol, don't use anylink or anything, just select the J6PRO protocol from the protocol drop down list and try to bind.
The Axe100CP is a rebranded Nine Eagle SoloPro 125.... My guess is it should bind to the Nine Eagle "J" protocol.
See if it works, if it does all your problems are solved

I'll try it for fun but i looked into before i bought devo and it sounded like the boards are different. I dont think it will solve my problem anyway as i think the problem is in how i have it set up in tx. ill post later to let you know if j6 works.

Any luck binding the AXE 100 CP to Deviation using J6Pro protocol?
Note: you need a Devo Tx with a telemetry capable module to use the J6Pro protocol (not that the protocol actually uses telemetry) so you need a "S" Devo.

It's not disappointing in regards to deviation. It was the old Solopro 125 that used J6Pro protocol. Even the solopro is now using something close to the anylink.
Nez, did you ever get it worked out?
Looking at your ini file I see a lot of "curvetype=deadband". I don't normally look at the raw ini files, so maybe that is the default for an unused curve(?)
I'm finding that I have way too much control. I have to set my rates to 50%.
I really think this all has to do with the calibration of the PPM signal compared to spektrum PPM. I'm going to plug in my dx6i and my devo12 to Phoenix and see what the rates look like.

I think I may have some bad batteries confusing the situation. I'm not sure. It seems like my heli-max 1SQ is slower with Devo8s and anylink as well though. I also have a flyzone S.E.5a and it seems to get full throttle I think. I'm going to do some trial and error this weekend and try to compare the same flight battery on tx610 then devo 8s to determine what's going on. Is there any way to adjust the trottle above 100 percent in devention? My tx610 has 125 percent for ail/elev/rud but not throttle.

I just realized its at full positive pitch now no matter I do. I tried reversing channel 6 etc. I think the problem may be that this anylink thing is junk.

You can go way higher than 125 with Deviation.
Make sure you're sending the correct channel to the Anylink thing.

i got pitch worked out. it seems i accidentally changed it to plane instead of heli at some point. still flies better with tx 610. not sure what you mean by way higher than 125 though. it seems like its limited to 100 in advanced mode.

Hex, have you set up gyro gain on channel 5? Maybe thats why you have so much control. I have it set up on the mix switch. My rates are on fmode at 60/80/100.
I use it on 100 most of the time and it seems to control nice.

On the channel's settings you can use the scale values to scale it over 100%Nez wrote: ...not sure what you mean by way higher than 125 though. it seems like its limited to 100 in advanced mode.
