Devo 7e, how to get german and "No telmtry suppor"

how can i get "German" into my Devo 7e?
This is described on the homescreen:

"All text is localized. Available translations for Hungarian, German, French, Russian, Chinese, Italian, Romanian, Spanish, and Afrikaans. Adding a new translation is as easy as editing a text file, and copying it to the transmitter."

But where and how can i get it?



And what means "No telemetry supported"? If i enter in the Devo 7e menue the telemetry it shows "No telemetry supported"
I thoght telemetry is supported? With the original software i could use telemetry with my Ladybird.



Can somebody help me?

Make you sure you read the manual if you haven't already, it will help.

1. No multiple language support for Devo 7E AFAIK.
2. Telemetry for DEVO protocol: go to "Model Config", scroll down until you have "DEVO" selected, press ENT then switch telemetry on.

If I were you I would familiarize myself with Deviation before going flying, you should at least be intimate with the menu system.

Edit: If your ladybird is V2 then telemetry is not supported.

I have tried, go to "Model menu", press "ENT", go to "Model setup", pres "ENT", scroll to "DEVO", press "ENT". Nothing happens! I tried it with dsmx and dsm2 too. Nothing happens. No telemetry supported.

If i press ENT on the DEVO button then should come another menu or screen?
There comes no button to switch telemetry on or off. It stays like it was before on DEVO.
Did i something misunderstood?

When i switch the Devo 7e on then shows me a pop up:

"Bad/missing protocol modules!"

Maybe i should update once more!

Any other solutions?

You should really take a good learn of the manual/release notes.

I'm saying that because I hope your experience with Deviation will be enjoyable and not a nightmare. Read the docs, multiple times if needed, read the release notes, read the forums.

For this error you need to copy on your TX the protocol modules. Devo 7E doesn't have enough RAM and each protocol resides in its own module. Since you haven't copied them yet, you get that error.

I cannot stress this enough, please read the manual!

Thx a lot for your help. I have read the manuel again and again.
I have it now. After 5 times upgrading the firmware and copying the filesystem with the protocol directory again and again it works now!

Iam very happy now.
