IKON set up using 8s - need help was created by DaleW
I am trying to install the newest IKON flybarless controller on my TREX 450 using 8s TX and DSMX satelites. The satelites lights have gone solid meaning the bind was successful, but the computer with the IKON setup does not show any movement of my TX sticks. Anyone have any help for me on this. I have verified the IKON moves the servos when they are connected, but the computer is not showing it. I have other signs the computer is seeing the IKON as a device, just not seeing my TX and stick movements.
I don't know where to look on TX to see if I need to use nightly builds regarding the warning re 8s not working with Vers 3.0 it seems to work fine on BeastX and MCPX. Bought 8s in January and installed Deviation 3.0 on March 24. Also works good with my Walkera 450 D03
Thanks

I don't know the IKON controller but for deviation:
The warning for Devo8-users is for those who recently bought a Devo8 with a new LCD controller inside. The actual nightly builds support both the old and the new controller so you won't have to fear a grey screen. And one issue was that Walkera had not published a firmware update for the new Devo8 so you had no chance to go back - they did some time ago and so this is also history...
I assume you have the older Devo8 because you had nod encountered problems with the March build. So from my point of view you could install the nightly without risk.
But if this will solve your actual problem - I don't believe so.

Have you selected Rx type 'Spektrum DSMX Satellite' in IKON software? What number of channels in Tx do you use in time of binding?

I dont think it helps, but you can try rebind satellite with 8 channels.
