Hello Everyone,
I am new to this transmitter but familiar with the Spektrum DX6i.
I was just wondering, the spectrum has a Throttle Adjustment and a Throttle Sub-Trim adjustment in the menu. What would be the equivalent in the Devo7e with the Deviation software? Or where would I find it?
I have to make an adjustment to the throttle and sub trim before binding and set it back to default settings after binding. This is for a mod I am using with the AR-Drone 2.0 with DSM2 protocol.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thank you,

Throttle adjustment is done in deviation with an offset to the throttle curve (available in complex mixer in advanced gui).
Subtrim adjustment is done with the trim buttons. Make sure you have selected to use trims (in the throttle mixer page).

The reason is that I have an AR-Drone with a RC mod. The mod calls for a Spektrum TX with pre-bind setting and post-bind setting.
Here is what the instructions say pre-bind,
"Follow the manual of your DX6i transmitter and make the following settings:
Travel adjust throttle: -125% (minimum), Sub trim throttle: -100% (minimum)"
After binding,
"Reset Travel adjust throttle: +/-100%, Sub trim throttle: 0%"
So, I am a little bit lost as to where I am suppose to go to modify the same type of settings.

I would try to define a complex mixer for throttle. On the first page, use throttle as input, 1:1, scale 100%. On the second page use replace mux, fixed curve, a scale of -125% and a switch to activate this (e.g. HOLD switch, HOLD1).
So when binding you switch the HOLD switch to 1 position, bind, switch back to 0 position and fly.

...then before binding try to set the scale values of the Ch1 (throttle in DSM2) to 125 and the subtrim to -100 on the channel setting page.
Then bind, and reset those values back to default after the successfull bind.
However note, that these values might be a little bit different from those of the DX6i...

Okay, that sounds good. I will give it a shot.
Thank you very much for your help.
1 last question.
When I test the channel, I get some channels that read +1000 to -976. In idle position it reads +35.
It might not make sense but this is an arduino based mod that setup mode(test) is via hyperterminal. Basically, values should read zero in center or idle, and 1000 or -1000 when moving the sticks to their extremities.

You can fine tune the values with the subtrims and scale values if you wish, but first do a proper stick calibration.
Stick values will always vary a bit, those potentiometers are not too precise parts and the AD conversion adds some more errors too...
