HI,
with my Walkera Copters, fail safe works as expected (only want, that the motor turns of when rx ist loosing signal from tx). So when I switch of my Devo 10 at the bench, the heli does not start to spin.
With my spectrum helis (1 ar7200bx, 1 Beast Clone with orange receiver) the helis start to spin up the motor when I switch off the Devo. Fail safe values from -100 and lower also fail-safe off was tested.
Any ideas?
I am usig the latest nightly build

Fail safe values of the channel config page work only with the DEVO protocol.

Spectrum receivers used to use the bind time stick values for fail safe...

That´s an interresting fact :-) Because binding works with throttle -100, but initialiting the esc need throttle lower than -120 to work. That could be the reason. I will try and report

Try to set the scale- value of the throttle channel to say 125, and rebind with the stick lowered...

Hi FDR,

you were right, all three helis (2xAR7200bx 1xbeast-clone at ornage receiver dsm2) are now working in fail safe mode.
One reason was, the first time I bound the tx to rx it worked, but the esc locked throttle, I had to lower throtte at travel adjust to -125 until the esc gave his "final beep".
So at fail-safe the esc received throttle -100 and not -125 and the helis began to spin when I switched of my Devo.

Thank you :-)
