Devo10 warning? was created by tonyg7vkb
Hi everyone, I'm new to the site.
I recently purchased a Devo10 in mode2. I installed Deviation vers 3 and the file system from vers 2.1.
All appears okay except for one minor error.
When switching on I get a warning that Ch1[Ele] is 0% and safe value is -100?. If this were on Ch3[Th] I'd understand it.
How can I correct this issue?

You should install the v3.0 filesystem for the v3.0 fw:
www.deviationtx.com/repository/Deviation...s-devo10-v3.0.0.zip/

Thanks FDR, Thanks for your quick response.
I installed file system version 3 as advised and initially all was okay.
Then I changed protocol to DSM2 and the problem came back. Haven't found a way round it so far?

When you changed the model or restarted the tx it should be gone.
This is a known problem because some variables are not initialized directly after changing the protocol but rather when the model is reloaded.

...or if you edit an existing old model config, which contains something like this in the [safety] section:
[safety]
Ch1=min- vlad_vy

After changing protocol from Devo to DSM2 channels mapping do not change automatically, you need change source to valid for first 4 channels, at mixer page.

Thanks guys for your quick responses. I seem to be getting around the problems now with your help.
This is where I am at the moment?
Mode2
DSM2
Plane
6Channel
Throttle left stick[Ch1]
Rudder left stick[Ch4]
Ail right stick[Ch2]
Ele right stick [Ch3]
Gear gear switch
Ch6 3position mixer switch
I got here by loading a template for 6ch plane.
I did try editing the mixing without success. Thanks again guys.
