Completely disable Trims - can it be done? was created by flythk
Hello,
I am mainly into flybarless helicopters. I never use any trim on these models, and many flybarless systems advise not to use trim in their manuals. I have read the Deviation manual, but cannot figure out if I can disable trims completely.
I want the trim switches to de disabled so I don't accidentally put trim into the model.
DOes anyone know if/how this can be accomplished?
Thanks!

Of course. Just go to the trim page and set the source for each to 'None'

Thank you, but that does not seem to work on my D12S when using the Simple GUI for helicopters. Whenever I change the source to None in the trim menu, I hit OK and the trim settings are unchanged. I don't know if this is related to the template/Simple GUI I am using or not. I will load the latest nightly build later and see if the problem persists.

yes, it looks like this is related to using the simple mixer. I need to do some more investigation before I can know how to proceed
Never mind. I see it in the Advanced mixer too (though I thought I checked it earlier today and saw it work). Anyhow, I'll get it fixed.
