I can't bind to my walkera 4#3 anymore, proto wk-2401.
No binding screen at power up and nothing when re-init.
Strange thing I am able to change the transmission power even tough I don't have the diode mode done.
I was under the impression that in that case the the power indication was "default" and not editable.
Edit: tested with devo10 and deviation 3.0, bind ok and fly ok (30sec hover).
Definitely a bug on latest build.
Edit 2 : Devo 10 Nightly 9686f9e
Binding screen present at power up and re-init.
Bind ok, fly ok.
Definitely a 7E bug.
Is there already a ticket on bitbucket ?

in protocol/wk2x01.c line 553:
change:
ele_start = CHAN_ReadInput(MIXER_MapChannel(INP_ELEVATOR));
ele_start = CHAN_MAX_VALUE - CHAN_MIN_VALUE;
My devo7e seems to be going crazy and I haven't had a chance to figure out what is wrong, and I don't want to commit the fix without testing.

But when I assembled the tx again I controlled the right stick's signals with the switches, not with the stick itself: switch on = green LED on = AIL 100%, other switch on = blue LED on = ELE -100%.
I removed the LED code and let the ports floating. With this I could control the blue and green LEDs with ELE/AIL...
I soldered the wires to other outputs. Now the green and blue LED only light up when ELE/AIL is near to +100%. But I had to recalibrate the sticks to get them working.
Seems to me as if the board was only designed for a single purpose (of course) and is not very stable to changes. Sometimes simply the use of other outputs could disturb other lines, esp. the ADC. Maybe this is one reason for the touch screen issue we had a while ago on some Devo12.

wk2801 also displays the binding screen when pressing the 'bind' button, but it does not display the binding screen on boot.
i don't know if that is expected behaviour for the wk2801 setting, but imo the 24 and 26 now work perfectly

Extra switches aren't behaving anymore.
I have 3x1 installed, and I now have again :
SW A and SW B showing on the channel monitor and not behaving correctly, i.e. when manipulating SW A it also change SW B.
Switch up :
SW A0 -100 SW A1 100 SW A2 -100
SW B0 -100 SW B1 -100 SW B2 100
Switch mid :
SW A0 -100 SW A1 100 SW A2 -100
SW B0 -100 SW B1 100 SW B2 -100
Switch down :
SW A0 -100 SW A1 -100 SW A2 100
SW B0 -100 SW B1 100 SW B2 -100
Can you confirm Harry ?

As I am using Sebastian VM ,I build without standard GUI, but telem, perm timer, layout editor, so it can fit.
I'll try your build and report back, maybe one of the diodes is dead.
Edit: Something wrong with my build, it's working now.
Thank you Harry

Did you compiled your own build or used the one Harry did ?

Edit: I'm sorry I must be blind or something, just braille read it again and saw you used Harry's one

With the 2601 protocol, I can force a Re-Init and it bind, both the 120D02s and the GENIUS CP but the swash mix is not good with both. For exemple if I push the throttle stick, only two servos goes up (pitch and ail or ele). There is always one servo that don't move ail or ele. If I push ail stick, pitch and ail or ele servo move (pitch should not move and ail and ele should move, one up and one down)
I have tried all the swash type (1servo, 3servo120 etc) and in the WK2601 protocol all the possibility (5+1, HELI etc). Cannot resolve the swash mix mix.
With the SUPER CP, nothing I can do to bind it with tx deviation
Long story for but short result
Anyways thanks for answering
Robert

Did you buy your Super CP as a kit with the 7e ?

I have another two bnf and all work fine with latest revision of deviation, I think Harry is right you should check your config.
I don't know about the 2801 proto since I can't put my hands on the only 4G6 I have that is 2801 compatible (somewhere in a box).
