Telemetry question was created by magic_marty
Hi guys, quick question here...If i am using my devo8s running deviation to fly a walkera qrx350 quadcopter and it has spektrum ar6210 rx installed and all is working good and i want to add the walkera telemetry unit will it still work cause the tx and rx is running dsm protocal? or am i going to have to install a devo rx to get the telemetry unit to work? I don't quite understand how the telemetry unit works it has its own antenna for transmitting the data but if the tx is bound as dsmx or dsm2 how could it work cause the telemetry unit is obviously devo protocal..
thanks..
thanks..

The telemetry unit and the rx have to be on the same protocol, so now you could use a Spektrum telemetry unit with the AR6210, or you have to replace that rx with a DEVO one to be able to use the Walkera telemetry unit...
