7e Help Please

I tried to upgrade firmware from 3.0.0 to 4.0.1 but I cannot get the DfuSE tool to recognize the transmitter in ''Available DFU Devices". I installed a new version from the User Manual link but it still will not recognize the tx.

My PC recognizes it as a removable disc under "My Computer" and I have the USB symbol on the tx screen.

In trying to get 4.0.1 installed I removed everything from tx memory and re-formatted.

Any help from here will be appreciated

to get it to show as a dfu you power on the tx while holding down the ext button, you should not see the usb on the tx screen but 'program update' instead
