Error while updating to nightly... was created by Solmer
Hi,
Currently I'm running Stable version on my Devo 7e (4.0.1) with good results but I want to try the nightly builds. Before the releasing of the last Nightly I tried to put into my Devo (Feb.. Nightly) and I got a "Bad/Missing protocol.." With the help of SeByDocKy I copied the protocol dir into my Devo but still giving me the "Bad/Missing protocol.." . Could someone explain how to update my Devo 7e with the last Nightly step by step?
The steps I've done were..:
1 Using Dfuse I upgrade de Dev0 7e with the last nightly .dfu file
2 Then I power off the radio and power on again in USB mode.
3 I copy the protocol dir into my Devo.
Am I missing a step?
Thanks in advance.

Well I've just upgraded my Devo10 to the latest Nightly and ran into some issues with telemetry.
I ended up with:
3.) format the USB-drive
4.) copy all files from the Nightly (see Manual which one)
5.) copy my models.ini from the backup
6.) save remove hardware
7.) switch off TX
8.) switch on TX, calibrate sticks and set the TX-settings again.

Hi Linux user,
It works like a charm
I've updated my Devo 7e with the latest Nightly build. My JXD 388 still not working properly....but I'll get the Hubsan X4 next Monday so I don't care...I'll sell my JXD 388, it only works ok with the official radio.
Thanks !
