Devo10 Aux1,2,3,4,5 servo control and switches? was created by masterpj555
Got my hands on the Devo 10, great transmitter I love it.
Now I want to use either one of the aux1,2,3,4,5 controls to control a servo with the RX1002 reciever for an additional add-on on my quadcopter.
However I don't know how aux 1 and 2 is controlled, apparently moving one of the control sticks moves the servo on these aux ports (however I use those sticks for controlling my quadcopter so that's unusable*.
With aux 4 and 5 I can't get anything to work at all.
I did calibrate the aux knobs and they do show up fine on the stick input on the transmitter.
I hooked up my arduino to read the PPM value on aux 5 and it stays at a 1505/1504 value all the time. I have tested the other ports and I know the reciever works.
I must be overlooking some kind of setting but I can't seem to figure out what.
Also is there a way to trigger a certain thing on the quadcopter? Like for a payload drop?
Edit: just tried the subtrim for aux 4 and that works but control itself does not.

Are you using a Devo 10 with the Deviation firmware or stock?
If Deviation, what model did you set up, and are you using all the channels in your model definition? I regularly use my Devo 10 with Deviation and a Rx1002, and everything works fine (as long as I program the model right)

I'm using devo 10 with the deviation firmware not stock.
Version is: devo10-v4.0.1
The model type is heli.
I temporarly set the TX power to 1mw as else it kills my wifi here.
I set the amount of channels to 10 but it allows me to set it to 12 but since the devo 10 only has 10 channels 12 makes no sense I think
(turning it on doesn't change things either).
Mixer GUI is on standard.
