Max Scale setting Throttle, Aileron, Pitch etc.

I recently upgraded from deviation v3 to v4.01. I notice the max scale setting in v4.01 is 125% instead of the previous 100% for v3. Would I have to set my scale to 125% for throttle, collective, aileron, rudder in order to have the same flying experience as the previous 100% of v3?

Would setting the scale at 125% damage the motor (both Brushless and Brushed), and would it damage the servo motors or overheat the ESC?
