Setting the mode switch on Devo 7 and adjusting it was created by wsurftoga
Really need some help here, so close but no cigar.
I'm trying to set the flight mode switch to the aux1 output on the reviever, and then adjust it's 'sub-trim' (?) so the Naza v2 can switch from manual/atti/GPS modes. Right now the MIX switch is activating these modes on the Naza setup software, but they aren't quite hitting the mark to activate manual/atti/gps modes with the naza software.
Can anyone offer somne help please ?? THanks !!

Hi
Just set the mixer for your AUX1 channel to "Expo&DR" and curvetype to "Fixed".
The values are:
Man. Mode: -79
Atti Mode: 5
GPS Mode: 90
This is from my DEVO10 file for NAZA:
[channel6]
scalar-=100
template=expo_dr
[mixer]
src=FMODE0
dest=Ch6
scalar=-79
curvetype=fixed
[mixer]
src=FMODE0
dest=Ch6
switch=FMODE1
scalar=5
curvetype=fixed
[mixer]
src=FMODE0
dest=Ch6
switch=FMODE2
scalar=90
curvetype=fixed

IF you have the 3way switches on a 7e, you can use one, say SW B to do this. Is this what you are using?
If you are, and you are familiar with editing the model.ini file, the prior script can work for channel 6. You should substitute SW B as the Aux channel in the script below. Where the script says FMODE0, use SW B0. Where the script says FMODE1 use SW B1, and for FMODE2 use SW B2.
If you don't want to edit the model.ini, you can use the GUI to make these edits, but it's harder to type the instructions out... Let me know if this would be helpful and I'll put it up in the morning.

(Smacks head, makes sound of airplane whizzing past)
Thanks Deal !! I'm afraid I don't know how to edit the .ini file. Do you connect it to a PC ?? Do you need to download drivers and stuff ?? I bet there's a sticky or something that answers these questions, but the manual is ridiculously translated. My Chinglish is not that good !!! Could you point me in a direction that would make me understand ?? THanks !!!
I guess this kind of answers my questions, since I have the Devo 7:
urrently, the Devo10, Devo8, Devo8S, Devo6, and Devo6S radios are supported. Devo7e support has been developed and is undergoing testing, and Devo12 development has begun. I currently have no plans to support the Devo7. Without USB, and with a segmented display, it is not an appealing platform.
