I fully expect to be told I've yet to find my mind, but this thought occurred to me, so I thought I'd ask.
The Spektrum TM1100 is a marvelous module for doing telemetry on mini & micro (200 to 450) helis. While it's not full range, it should be ok for most of the range of those helis. And it's half the size of the full-range TM1000 or the Walkera CTL01, and smaller than the programmable LVC buzzer alarms I've found.
It'd be really nice to be able to use the TM1000 on things other than those that use DSM. For instance, I'd like to try putting them in things like a WLToys v915 or a Walkera 4F200LM. But those don't have DSM receivers.
So - what are the chances of it being possible to use telemetry with a protocol different from the protocol being used to talk to the model? Can we even bind them both (or maybe have a "Bind" button on a new telemetry config page that lets you set the protocol)?
Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
