Binding a mini cp was created by Bulldogger
Got the program successfully loaded in my Devo 7e transmitter. I am having a problem binding my mini cp to the transmitter. I somehow have a fixed id number according to the radio. Can anyone give me directions on how to bind it since it will not auto bind? Thanks

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

You have to clear the fixed id. Did this for mine just last night.
That clears the fixed ID. You can now auto bind by clearing the fixed ID:
Things will work this way, but using Fixed ID's will keep you from binding to the Mini CP unless it's model is selected. Given the results of flying with the wrong model, binding with a fixed ID is recommended. This needs to be done with things already bound. So, from the previous state:
You should be all set.
- Power everything off.
- Unplug the elevator servo (bottom servo connector on the back of the flight control board).
- Plug the bind plug into that socket.
- Plug the battery into the 'copter and wait for the light to blink.
- Unplug the bind plug, and wait for the light to blink quickly.
- Unplug the battery from the 'copter.
- Plug the elevator servo back in.
That clears the fixed ID. You can now auto bind by clearing the fixed ID:
- Power the Tx on.
- Go to Model menu -> Model setup -> Fixed ID and hit ENT.
- Cursor to DEL, and hit ENT until the field is blank.
- Cursor to DONE and hit ENT again.
- Go to Re-Init, but don't hit ENT yet.
- Plug the battery back into the 'copter.
- When the light on the 'copter starts blinking, hit ENT on the Tx.

- Go back down to Fixed ID and hit ENT.
- Change the randomly generated ID if you want to.
- Cursor back to DONE and hit ENT.
- Cursor back to Bind and hit ENT.
You should be all set.

Mwm,
Thanks, that worked like a charm. Do you have a link for how I should set the mini cp up?
Looking for swash setting,
Servo travel settings
Pitch is the linear -100 to +100 correct and all the other necessary inputs using the deviation software.
