Module niot missing but not binding?

I've got an NRF24L01 that seems to have quit working after I reworked the wiring trying to deal with "Missing Module" problems. It's not showing up as missing, but it doesn't bind. Worked fine in the tests I did before closing the case up, but not now.

My diagnosis is fried module, except I would expect that to not show up at all. Is there some other likely problem I should look into before I order a replacement?

Hi.
Funny thing. I had the same problem some time ago.
I did a major fault. I forgot to put the antenna on the nrf module.
Check this first. But take the one which was delivred with the module. Strip the plastic of the antenna and put only the cable on the nrf. Store it in your TX.
Try it. And Good luck.

Nope, it wasn't the antenna. It was Deviation. I rolled the V202 protocol back to the 4.0.1 version, and it's working fine again.
