I reported a bug #0000636 and and is supposed to be fixed.

"We believe this was fixed as of Aug 12th. Please update to the latest nightly, and reopen this issue if it is not corrected."

Yet the last build I can find is deviation-devo8-v4.0.1-ef0d76d.dfu of 2015-07-26

Where am I going wrong?

Sorry about that. What Tx do you use? I'll upload a test build from the latest sources for you.

To fly the v977 you can use the nightly from 2015-07-26.
Works good :)
I have no problems anymore with the v977 using DEVO 10

Yes, I do it currently but only on advanced, Standard mode ELE & AIL swopped arround.
I love Standard for the way I use my Gain on all channels.
Thanks

There shouldn't be anything you can do in the Standard GUI that you can't do in the Advanced GUI. It might be harder to do, as the Advanced GUI gives you very fine control. It will definitely be harder to find if you're used to proprietary firmware. But it should still be possible. In fact, you can convert from the Standard GUI to the Advanced GUI, and all that changes it the GUI. You can't go back, though.

So if you explain what you mean by "use Gain on all channels", we can show you how to do it in the Advanced GUI.

I've uploaded a "complete" (as in, I ran the build, ignored warnings/errors and then uploaded all the .zip files) at deviationtx.com/downloads-new/category/212-mwm-newnighlyt

Your devo8 version is there. Should have just done that anyway.

Thank you so much for your support, really appreciated.
mwm, your service is great !!!
Will try it tonight.

The story about the gain is when I fly my MCPX for instance I like to setup Throttle Curve ID0 = 0, 60, 80,90,100 ; ID1 = 20, 60, 80,90,100 ; ID2 = 100, 90, 80,90,100 end then adjust the Servo travel on PIT until I get ultimate performance, Let say it comes to -85, +85. The experience I have to do it in advanced is that there I now have to adjust each curve or change my D/R on all three modes.
I just recently purchased the Devo 8S and installed the NRF24L01 & A7105 on past Saturday and have to setup "all my micros" ('m adicted.) and Standard is a lot quicker to figure out new config.
I want to setup my own configs for Walkera 4#3, 4G6, M120D01, MiniCP & NineEagles Solo Pro 100 & WLToys v911, v977 & Blade MSR, nCPX, MCPX, MCPX BL & 130x.

Thank you once again.
Regards
Francois (South Africa)

Yeah, that's the kind of thing that Advanced makes easier than Standard. In your shoes, I'd probably stay with Standard as well. After all, if you run into something that needs fixing in Advanced, you can always convert after you've tuned things.

It's probably possible to set up a virtual channel that would let you tune things in one place, but I suspect it's not worth the effort.
