What do you mean by "no control"? Tell us what you're doing and what you expect to happen and what actually happens.

The most common missed step is failing to go to the transmitter menu and calibrate the transmitter.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Most common reason for v120do2s is Fixed ID. v120do2s can't work with arbitrary Fixed ID. Try to reset Fixed ID for v120do2s and Devo 7e.

Ok I calibrated, tried the bind plug on ELE and it reset the RX. Did re-init,then it beeped after countdown like it did when stock,ALL servos jumped up n down like normal, like it bound!!
When I move any sticks it doesn't respond!!
And if I hit throttle hold down it spools up!!
Also when I turn on TX it just says my model name on upper left. I don't have the fancy pic or read outs like I've been seeing! I'm new to firmware upgrades bear with me. Did I miss something?? It says the deviation logo on startup sometimes.its strange it acts like it binds but then no input. Please help and thanks for taking time to read this

Where did you get your model file from?

It sounds like you did not even configure the heli model or assigned stick inputs to output channels?

What does your channel monitor say?

From the unzipped file for Devo 7e. On web.
It said to highlight and drag all files into my "e"
Drive(7e) all but dfu and zip. Protocol as well which is 7e specific. I went back and found a nightly build,I still have no graphics. I tried to change color, font etc. but it had no effect. I went into ini.folders etc. I'm about to give up and sell all of it. The firmware is in the TX. All was loaded %100.no errors!!yet I have just the model name I made in top left of screen on TX.ive followed all videos/instr. to the T!
But non of videos go further than showing deviation welcome page on TX. THANKS for reading guys

I think we can all relate to the frustration you are feeling... It kinda comes with those first couple of installs. I'm wondering if the basic system just didn't get set right in the first place, so I suggest starting over and taking one step at a time.

I'm pretty sure that if DeFuse didn't work right you'd get nothing when you power on, so that's probably ok. The next step on the Devo7e can be overlooked... When you power it on with the ENT key pressed, it's in USB mode, and appears as a drive in your file manager. I always format that drive before I move the files.. Just right-click and format for FAT. It will finish in a couple of seconds. Then copy over the files. Here's a good check: At this point, you can power off and when you apply the power you should get the logo and the display should show model1. Of course there isn't any configuration yet, but if you make it this far, the system is set up properly! Then you can calibrate and set up your models. please let us know your results.

Thanks for the reply!! So I should just format the drive, then drag all the folders except the zip and df. To the e drive(transmitter) and see if it takes? It'll be a few days as I own a Mac
So when my friends home I'll go there and try.
Keeping my fingers crossed!!!

Yeah, it's no guarantee that it will solve your problem, but it might. In any case it's better to make sure that the drive is formatted.

Thanks for the info on redoing install. It worked!! I have home screen etc etc. now I'll try and bind to models tonight. I see no problem that should arise now that I have all the menus! My patience paid off. So unless something don't bind I'll check back in a day or so.
