CYRF6936 doesn't like other modules

I have 3 Devo 7e transmitters and two each of A7105 and nRF24L01. I have tried all possible combinations of 1 and 2 modules added to all 3 transmitters. In every case I get an error message "Missing Modules: CYRF6936". In some cases, the A7105 will work.
I'm not that consistent so I'm obviously doing something wrong. Any ideas?
Having read everything that is available on the subject, I have to say that the whole concept of nightly builds plus file systems is dreamed up by someone with a warped sense of humour. We need to start again with one system that is known to work. I have two extra switches fitted and working, so I can't be all bad!

Can you post a photo of the wiring? Specifically we need to see how you're connecting to the 7e board solder points as well as to the module. In my case I found that I needed to ground the modules to the ground pin of the CYRF. That may not be your issue, but perhaps a review by another set of eyes could help.

Also post a copy of the hardware.ini file you are using.
