help with 5.0.0-99 on 7e was created by skretchmer
i have tried several times to load 5.0.0-99aee1a on my Devo 7e. I follow the directions exactly, format the drive, copy over the folder contents, etc... But when I go to use it my controller shuts off randomly, within a few minutes of being turned on. I can revert back to nightly build 4.0.1_aa82a64 with no troubles, and it works fine. I do have a fully populated Multi-Module, and I am making new changes to the hardware.ini file that I copy over from the 5.0.0aee1a folder, not the old hardware.ini file from 4.0.1. The module works fine when I revert back to 4.0.1.

any ideas anyone?

Hmmm..

Ok, I tried the whole procedure again, and was able to get 5.0.0_99 installed and working, Except. When I go into the menu, the selected option is blank now. if I scroll up or down, the blank line moves, and replaces the selection.

better for sure..

This issue came in with commit 8bdf866. I've made a fix but can't currently make a PR because I messed up the master branch in my fork and still trying to fix it. Anyone feel free to go ahead :)

There's still a couple cosmetic differences even with this fix.
