Devo 12s sliders and Pots

Hello
I have a devo 12 s with deviation 5
I have got this tx to have proportinnal channels by the sliders and potentiometers on the side of the tx
I am trying to use the sliders and pots to affect them to channels but I do not see how this is possible
I suppose that the source for the sliders and pots are aux2 to aux7 but that does not work.
Can you help me

I don't have a 12s so don't know off hand, but you should be able to see what's what by going into the Input Monitor?

The aux2 to aux7 are there but nothing can activate them

That was the good question to ask !!
As my sticks were well calibrated I am ashamed not to have thought that it had to be done for Aux entries..

I was wondering whether it could not be good to have in the download for the devo 12 s a tx.ini with a calibration for the sliders and pots (Aux entries). This could help beginners (or not) to ask the same question and think their TX is faulty....
So I include my tx.ini which is calibrated for all entries and touch screen, and even if it is not the same for all devo 12s (why no ?) il could be a good basis.

I think the answer is you need to calibrate all the analog inputs on every tx no matter what. The sticks come sorta-kind precalibrated, but things don't work properly until you calibrate them - unless you're just incredibly lucky.

My take on it is that we shouldn't pre-calibrate the sticks either, but that would be a change.

If you want a serious discussion about this, try posting an issue on the bug tracker as a feature request that it be changed this way. That will engage the devs.

I do not consider this as a bug as this does not concern the deviation firmware.
I posted this as a possibility to prevent users from thinking that their devo 12s tx did not work when installing deviation. It would be effectively possible to have all entries (including sticks ) not calibrated. But in this case it would be good and even necessary to include the calibration in the installation process in the manual..
I do not know exactly what means a serious discussion.
Consider that this was just the post of a user on a forum in order facilitate the use this excellent firmware.

Well "bug tracker" is a misnomer - it's actually for any suggested change to the distribution, most notably including feature requests or suggestions for changes to the manual and web site. "Issue tracker" is better terminology, but I didn't get to make that decision.

Everything in the bug tracker gets a developer to at least look at it. That's where you'd make a suggestion in hopes of getting a developer to actually implement it. The only better way to get a change into deviationTx or the manuals is to make it yourself and add a pull request to the repository on github.
