The stock devo7e wont bind with the ia6. The ia6 is flysky protocol!
You need to install a module in the devo7e!

oh gee wiz, I did not read your msg, installed the a7105 module, verified working with another quad that needs it, and your saying its not dsm2 or dsmx, the remote is the flysky emaching branded remote controller, ok then what ? help, I even with a7105 and selecting dsmx and discon the receiver and and powerup separate w/binding plug get nothing but rapid flash with 7e

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

Try selecting the FlySky protocol as recommended by ursus69.

tried flysky, no good, one thing I forgot to mention, this is not the ARF but the RTF version, it comes with the receiver, a flysky ia6/turgy ia6, I thing most folks responding are are putting their own receivers in, just need someone who has been sucessful with the RTF version.
Thanks Larry

You will need the AFHDS 2A protocol. (A7105)
I don`t know how far goebish on the development of this protocol is...
so this thread is for you.
www.deviationtx.com/forum/protocol-devel...-i6-it4?limitstart=0
Edit:
But why not use the IA6 tx?
I am quite sure, by default it will have far more range than the 7e with a A7105 module will have.

When I need the range I'll use the original controller, most everyday practice I do multiple quads as batteries expire it's nice to not have to get out all the remotes as well. I also go to the flying club on motorcycle and don't have all the space.
