So I just snapped the USB port off my devo 10. I have a dead 7e laying around, is it possible to transplant the 7e port into the 10?

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

It's clearly a SMOS. But it might be easier to buy a new USB socket (I find getting non-trivial components off boards a PITA) or a breakout like this one

Buy one from ebay to only pay 250% shipping. Slightly cheaper from Amazon, but you have to wait for shipping from china.

I'd pull the old one, toss it, solder that one on with connectors and the glue it just outside the old one. But this isn't something I've ever done. You probably want guidance from somebody who's more familiar with such

If you look at USB pinout, e.g.
	latestusb.net/micro-usb/mini-usb-pinout-diagram-2.html
and take into consideration that Devo does not use USB power, then GND, D-, and D+ are actually the only connection needed.
