variations of Frsky modules was created by ixlix
Im looking to add a frsky module to my Devo10 and can find three similar ones on Banggood, all slightly different prices. Can anyone elaborate on which is best?
CC2500 Long Range
CC2500 w/Pa & LNA
CC2500 500K Long Range
Thanks

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

Two of them have the same price. They all have identical specs, as far as they say. So I'd get the cheapest one, or maybe the one they say will get to you fastest.
Is banggood a shared storefront, with different suppliers listing things? They may all be identical but from different companies.

Sorry my linking was wrong, the 3rd one is this one:
cc2500
They seem to vary in transmission speeds, with one only doing 500k & 250k, and the other two seemingly adjustable up to 1200k, and also one has output power up to 23db rather than 20db of other one. Not sure if its a shared storefront, didnt think so.

Sometimes BG shows the same pictures for different parts, or they copy the description from a previous stored part, that´s a problem.
Product ID: 1075492 .....max .RF output 0dBm ...lol
These modules should be the same, except the third one. Look at the imprint on the backside( they may have different SKUs for different suppliers)
Module ...Product ID: 922595... is the one we used more often and it is proven.( no fine tune necessary).
The Skyartec " Long Range" one (23dB) isn´t listed anymore.
Buy and try...
Edit: ...please take the receive sensitivity into account -112 dBm to -98 dBm for the other "long range"....

So the Product ID: 1075492 one is best as its sensitivity is highest? 14bdm seems like a massive difference seeing as 3bdm is a doubling of sensitivity.
In a tx module, is output power or sensitivity more important? The 23dbm module is still listed.

Hi, another vote for SKU:922595
www.banggood.com/CC2500-PA-LNA-Romote-Wi...F24L01-p-922595.html
I have one in each of my devos and have another on deck for if/when I build another U7E... No fine tuning needed

Really? This one was sold on BG for a long time.
www.skyartec.com/ProductShow.asp?ArticleID=1977
All the others seem to be more or less the same type of SKU:922595 but with little different specs and quality.
Remember, some users had to finetune massively to bind their receiver.

Sorry I meant that one of the ones I listed had 23dbm as its sensitivity. I enquired with Banggood and got the following reply:
I've consulted our seller and she said:
-2.4G 500K CC2500 Long Range Wireless Transceiver Module Product ID: 1075492
-2.4G CC2500 Long Range Wireless Module Product ID: 1071504
-CC2500 PA LNA Romote Wireless Module CC2500 SI4432 Product ID: 922595
are the same function but different price for different suppliers
So there ya go. I'll use the tried and tested one.
