Updated to v5.0.0 but it shows version v4.0.1

Hi,

I have one Devo 8S and I have updated from version v4.0.1 to v5.0.0. But if I check the version I see it shows version v4.0.1 as you can see in the attached photo. I am wondering if finally I have v5.0.0 but shows v4.0.1 or really I have the old version.

The process I have done to update has been to delete all old files and add the new files of the new version including "hardware.ini" and "UPDATING.md" which were not in the old version.

Is there any thing wrong?

it looks to me you forgot to load .dfu firmware file within the zip with the Walkera DFuse and hit "upgrade" in the tool.

BTW: A maybe slightly better (tested) version than release 5.0.0 is Vlad's test build with new DSMx reset code and FlightLog filtering.
It is based on 5.0.0 code but newer protocols.

Vlad's test bulid is pretty stable (for DSMx) - I was flying EPO glider several days / hours with it.
Telemetry turned ON, of course - using genuine Spektrum receivers (AR6210) / TM1000.
Release 5.0.0 as well as V4.0.1-nightly-build fcd0669 (BitBucket number) protocol code also worked pretty good on DSMx and telemetry ON.
