Is DSMX working with all standard Spectrum rx ??? was created by passagemaker
Hello audience,
a simple question from a newbie.
It is stated somewhere that the Devo´s tx under deviation sw will work in DSMX mode without hardware change.
Does that mean after installation of the sw I can communicate with the wide variety of Spectrum, Orange etc. DSMX receivers?
I ask for the members indulgence and patience.........that might have been asked a hundred times already.
My TX is a F12E
Regards
Richard

Thanks A LOT!
I was wondering if I relally should tinker in a new tx to install a 4in1. I am not as good in soldering as I am in throwing a piano. (using one arm of course)
Now if that is no problem to use just DSMX receivers, that opens a wide field............
You made my day chap!

Richard

yes and deviation firmware is non destructive, so you can go back to original devo software, but no one does that.....
When buying a devo 7e: www.xt-xinte.com/F18519.html
Devo 7e, cheap radio is restricted to parkfly. To make it a full range some soldering is required. The other Devo radio models, like devo 10 etc no modding is required full range dsm dsmx.

Thanks again Fernandez .......muy servicial......
I have already bought a new Devo F12E because I am building an aerial Quad and there the integrated display and receiver are very handsome.
But your link is much appreciated though!
Hope I can contribute to some extend in the future. (not for very long though... I am suffering quite severe from a deadly sort of cancer)
Enjoy your Weekend Fernandez
Regards

Well Fernandez it is as it is........
.......and if I am permitted to be a bit sarcastic, I would say "I have to live with it". Although it is the opposite.
Back to life
Now I am not sure if this is the right place to ask further Questions but I´ll try.
After installing Deviation (latest version) I am missing many functions on the tx compared to the Walkera FW 1.5B which I have installed first.
Telemetry for example. The screen tells me that is not available ???
I cannot find a hint where to chose if I want to communicate with a Walkery rx or a DSMX for example.
Languages are missing (not very important but it was announced to be there)
No data overlay on the screen, just the simple menu and so on.....
All in all it appears extremely simplyfied and I don´t believe that is correct.
What did I mix up or miss?
Anyone any idea?
Regards
Richard

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

Please don't ask the same question in multiple places.
