8s L trim and R trim as switches or pots was created by Hoodooguru
L and R trims on 8s are difficult to get to and probably not often used, if at all. Would it be possible to do away with them and use there wiring (inputs) as switches or pots? If so is any one out there who is capable be willing to do the code? I do understand these can be configured as pots or switches but as mentioned there location on tx is not good and actual pots or switches located in a more appropriate position would be much more useful.

I'd suggest reading the thread "
https://www.deviationtx.com/forum/6-general-discussions/2102-adding-switches-to-devo-6sAdding Switches to devo 6s
", the 6s has very similar circuitry to the 8s so most is applicable. IIRC you won't be able to use pots as there's no ADC-capable pins? I think switches are possible if you use the diode mod, otherwise they screw with all other trims; it's all covered in the thread.
