Jumper has discontinued T8SG v2 plus

I just noticed that Jumpers's product listing shows T8SG v2 plus as Discontinued.
I was thinking of getting that transmitter, but now I'm not sure what kind of support it will get.

Does anyone have any idea what Jumper's plans may be?
Could it be that they are dropping their Deviation line in order to focus on the OpenTX line (T12, T16)?
Or are they coming out with new Deviation models? The black T8SG plus "v3" is not discontinued, so maybe they just want to have fewer models.

Have Jumper been active in the DeviationTX development?

I asked Jumper sales and this was their reply to me:
"Thanks for choosing Jumper.
T8SG V Plus is still in production. We are just supplying it to big dealers like Banggood.
