There are 10 types of people in this world. Those that understand binary and those that don't.

Good point.
PB, maybe that should be added to the release notes and/or in the announcement page.
Cheers

I'm trying to setup my new AR7200BX on my Devo 6 with Deviation FW version v1.1.1
I have the Heli 6 chan template loaded, and am using DSM2 TX protocol.
THR appears on ch 1
AIL on ch2
ELE on ch 3
This is unusual because all other protocols use THR on CH3.
Anyway I can't get it to work properly.
Has anyone setup a BX on Deviation?
My experience so far is that I have successfuly setup a 2702V, and RX2618V using the 6 ch template on my Devo 6.
*****************************************************************
I think the Heli 6 ch template doesn't apply to DSM2 rx's.
I moved the THR, complex functions to CH 1, and changed CH 3 to ELE, simple.
But this throws the template labels off.
I haven't tried it yet but I think this might work.

1st, DSM2 support in 2.1 is much more reliable than with 1.1.1.
2nd, you are right that the 6ch heli template doesn't work properly with DSM2. That is abug limitiation in how templates work. In 2.1, you can reorder the channels after applying the template as a work-around. For 1.1.1 there isn't much you can do other than changing servo positions or building the configuration from scratch.
I'll take a look at the template and see if there is anything I can do to make it work properly with DSM2.

I'll load in 2.1, and go from there.
Thanks for your help.

More on my 7200BX setup.
I have the swash working, and it moves as it should.
I'm using the following settings on the tail.
4-RUD Simple, SRC RUD, Curve 1-to-1, Scale 80
5-GEAR Simple, SRC GEAR, Curve 1-to-1, Scale 40
The tail seems to be responding OK, on the bench, but I'm not sure it's the best setup.
This is my first attempt at a DSM setup, so any help would be appreciated.
