In a few days will come out the new V922 collective pitch 100 size micro helicopter by WL Toys soon to be followed by a smaller 80 size version sometime in January.

It is actually a clone of the HiSky FBL100

And of the Hobbyking Turnigy FL100

Thread in RCGROUP on this heli:

Sadly enough it is confirm that WL Toys is dropping Flysky support and that this heli will not be Flysky compatible (as some of the newer V911 apparently btw),
It also seems that the radio that will be shipped with the heli will not even have adjustable curves, so it will have one preset set 3D mode, that's it. Kinda sad ...

Ok I suppose it's pretty obvious where I'm going with this ...

Call Deviation to the rescue!

It's hard to have definitive info on the heli quite yet but it looks like all 3 versions are compatible protocol-wise and that it uses NRF24.

Here is a couple pictures of the Rx:

Looks like a couple promising helis at a reasonable price, shame it has no Flysky compatibility and a very limited crappy radio shipped with it.

PB, do you think this something you'd consider investigating when it becomes widely available?

Sure. I'll likely order one when they are actually in stock. I learned my lesson with banggood. I'll only order in-stock parts. It will of course require a new module to work. Whether it can be done at all depends on the protocol, and there is no way to know anything about it until we can tap into the spi bus and see what is going on.

Is it possible to connect the V922 with the Devo8?

Thanks for your help.

Not yet. This is a difficult one to support due to the chip used. victzh is working on a 'Q-BOT' which may use the same protocol as the v922. If so, then that will allow us to add proper support.

Do I need modifying the transmitter?

where should I look to be on the latest state?

Thanks NT

You will need a new hardware module, but it also requires new software. The hardware itself is not too hard to install, but learning enough to write the software will be quite challenging. There is no 'best' place to check for status. When its ready it will be posted.

Is it the HT8 adapter?

Okay, then I will wait.

Thanks PB. :)
