Hello,
I have a Devo 8s with a V939 FlySky Mod.
I ordered this v949 board to upgrade my v929 to a v949 (Canopy +LEDs + FC):
www.banggood.com/Wholesale-Wltoys-V929-B...V929-06-p-47484.html
Flying works well, the LEDs work after I attach the battery.
But the LEDs go out after binding.
It seems like the LEDs are switchable with the original controller.
Anyone have an idea how I can put the LEDs on with my Devo?
I played around with channel 5, but no success.

1st thing to do is to enable all 8channels and try changing each to see if one of them has an affect. If not, likely I'll need to pick up a 949 Tx to see what is different about it.

Hello,
I checked all 8 channels, no effect.
I am worried, that it is some kind of "macro".
As I cannot find a solution, I have soldered direct power from the lipo.
That works hehe
Best regards,
cestus

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.
My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

The v959 has four "functions" - flip, led, external1 and external2. The 3.0.0 (and tip as of tonight) code is missing "flip". If that's what's used for LEDs on the v949, it wouldn't trigger. I would expect that one of the other three should trigger the v949 "flip".
You might test for triggering flip mode on it. I'd certainly be interested in the results.
