WK 2801Pro and Devo10 Deviation buddy box?

I have a WK2801Pro that I love, has served me faithfully for years, but Walkera has left me high and dry with it. If I get a Devo 10 and put Deviation on it will I be able to use the WK2801Pro to buddy box and such?

I suspect I can, but I figured I should ask.

BTW, I'm SQRT(-2) on Helifreak. Just no punctuation allowed here.

For now we have only PPM out from deViation so you only could use the Devo10 as the slave and the WK2801 as master (I hope I didn't mix it up again...). PPM in is on the list.

RBE is right (I've tested it as I've also a Devo10 & a WK2801) ...
Devo10 as slave and WK as master works like a charm...

Good to hear. If it allows me to do the trainer thing it may be worthwhile to upgrade.

BTW, I am unsure how radio S&M works so which is the slave and which is the master?

The slave if the one whos output is mixed to the masters inputs and then send to the model. So the master has the power to overwrite everything the slave sends him and to decide which value the rx will get.

Ah, so I set my 2801 up with the model, and the teacher uses that while the devo 10 is what the student uses as a set of remote sticks.

Man, I am not looking forward to resetting up my models with a new radio. But I figure I can do it one model at a time.
