Devo 12s reverse trim switches was created by gmcquet
Hi all.

I have noticed that my aileron trim on my devo 12s is somehow reversed.

Example: When I give right stick, I get right aileron up (and left down obviously.

When I give right trim I get right aileron DOWN and left aileron UP which is confusing when trying to trim the model in the air. My Devo 10 does not do this.

I tried reversing the aileron channel and of course the trim changes to the correct direction but the aileron is then reversed which gives me a new problem.

Is there a way to independently change the direction of the trim switches?

All help appreciated!! :)

Hi. Sorry I forgot to mention this.

My Devo 12s is just stock it's not on deviation. I have my Devo 10 on deviation.

Does the stock firmware allow you to configured trim switch directions?

Hi mate. Well on deviation, can you reverse trim directions without reversing the direction of the stick that the trim is associated to?

Is this only in Deviation? Can you reverse trims with stock firmware?

HI all.

I have figured out the issue. There is an option on the devo called STICK DIRECTION. This was set to reverse for the ailerons. I tested the setting out and it allows you to reverse elevator/rudder/throttle/aileron without reversing the trim associated it. Now that it's set to normal, my aileron trim issue is gone. If you havethe stick direction reversed for ailerons they won't match up to the aileron trim direction.

Just FYI..
