devo 8s bind with higher channel rx?

Ok I am looking at a custom build plane that could use 10 ch. So before I start the build I was wondering if my devo8s will bind with and use all 10 ch of a 10 ch rx?

Yep. In fact the module in the devo12 is exactly the same as the one in the devo 8

Thats what i thought but wanted to be sure before i bought a 12rx..

I have a devo 12 now.. Sold my devo8. The 12 is most likely the last radio I'll ever need.
