I am suprised that this has not already come up. When downloading the manuals
both the 7e/10 and the 6/8/12 the text has ghosting. This is for linux but not windows. By ghosting I mean that each text character has a second identical character slightly to the right and down from the origional.
For close spaced text the result is unreadable text. What you get is essentially a black blob.
Can the font for the text be changed?
My reader can't do it.

What viewer do you use?
I've checked a few viewers on Ubuntu 12.04 with no issue.

I will check and get back. However I am using the beta Ubuntu 1404.

Ah Ha I checked again and used the document viewer in the assesories with no problem. I will investigate this further. There is more to this than meets the eye. I believe it seems to be something related to Firefox and how it handles documents. I will keep you informed as I dig deeper.
