Did I get a converted "Mode 2" TX that was not done properly?
Is there a number on the case that would indicate Mode 1 or 2?

Check that out and let me know what you find. After that, try loading the latest version of Deviation. If that doesn't fix it, it might be time to remove the back cover and see what's going on with the left gimbal's wiring.
There's probably a way to re-map the controls to be in the correct place, but if you don't fix the core issue you'll have to do that on every single model profile you use.
While we're checking things out, reload that Ominus profile and take a look at the model settings - tap the icon, and check the page you see against the attached photo. If anything is somehow switched around, that would definitely give you problems. If not, this is the page we'd need to change things to get your channels assigned to the correct stick movements.

Edit: Your TX is correct in mode2 but these shit Spectrum RX screws it up.
The CC3D is in AETR channel order and if you use PWM, you can reorder this into
the Devo or just plug signal wire to port for channel3 on the CC3D.
Edit1: R615X has AETR order at CPPM.Try it.

The best RX you can buy, is the little FrSky RX D4RII. But for this one, you will need a RF modul upgrade on your Devo.
Is the Spektrum rx a satellite?

On CopterControl you are able to reorder the channels.

No it is a full RX.
Sorry but could you help me out with what I need to do? I just got the Devo 8s today and have been fooling around with it for a few hours getting nowhere.
The CC3D is in AETR channel order and if you use PWM, you can reorder this into
the Devo or just plug signal wire to port for channel3 on the CC3D.
I would love to know which channels I need to change? I really need to flight mode switch to work as I am adding GPS to my Flame Wheel.
Sorry if I may be confusing you. I have 2 Flame Wheels. One with the CC3D and one with a Multiwii Mega 3.5.

But you really need to study the doc files of the FC and the software, otherwise
you will go to nowhere.
What FC software do you use?

I used OP software and WIN GUI.
With the CC3D (Switched signal wire 1 and 3) and 8s I can get all the way to the mode switch in the wizard and can go no farther because the switch is not recognized.

Sorry did not read ..
Try it within CopterControl first....and if that will not work, change
the signal wires.
Edit: The switch for arming? Then you have to do a channel assignment within
the FC software.
Did start with the wizard?

On my 7e I have HOLD on CH5 and a 3position switch(FMOD) on CH6.
With cleanflight I use my modded switches SWA and SWB within certain fixed
ranges ,so I get with 2 channels six functions.
Edit: Good night, I have leave now... ( Europe)
