Hi,

I am new to deviationTX and will receive a DEVO 10 in few days.
As I don't want to use MultiModule board, I would like to know if it is possible to replace the existing CYRF6936 with CC2500 module ?

This way I could have the CC2500 as main module and nRF24L01 / A7105 as additionnal modules.

Thanks for your advices.

I'm pretty sure it's possible, as all the connections are there. It's just a simple matter of programming.

The firmware ignores the CYRF setting on deviation hardware, so you'll have to fix that.

Then you should be able to wire in the CYRF module, using the appropriate CYRF pin instead of the TMS or TCK pin that's documented for it. Not sure what you'll need to do about the PA & LAN connections, either. I'd be tempted to set it up for 4.0.1 and test that first, then try the nightly firmware and connections for it

In hardware.Tx, It looks like you set the the enable-cc25 to B12, and has_pa-cc2500 to 1.

Do not ask me questions via PM. Ask in the forums, where I'll answer if I can.

My remotely piloted vehicle ("drone") is a yacht.

Thank you.

It seems complex, it Will require some time to work on that.
I'll have to go the simple way first then...
