frsky x4r bind

Hello there. I've bought a new receiver from FrSky x4r. I wanted to know whether anybody to run the get hat. I did not make it. I have a devo 10 with cc2500 pna from banggood. I have also successfully tied with a X8R receiver. it is possible or not possible to bind the receiver? many thanks

I am also on the same boat but I have an X4RSB version. I posted the same question in the FRSKY protocol thread and it seems D16 protocol is not yet implemented. Did you say you were able to bind the X8R? If so how did you do it?

The X8R supports the D8 protocol, I believe.

I love the little ones .
with the right mods gets a 4ch PWM, 16ch s bus and 8ch CPPM. And telemetry, and rssi and a very good range....
and that with the weight and size.

Doesn't look like the X4R supports D8 (aka FrSky on deviation), so it won't work.

For that matter, it's now illegal to sell D8 protocol radio hardware in Europe, so the newer D16 receiver firmware no longer support D8 mode. I don't know if that's going on all of them, or only the ones going to Europe.
