Check the "Supported Models" link in the main menu. All the JJRC modujles use the V2x2 protocol, which needs an NRF24L01 module. For instructions on installing that, follow the "Links" link in the main menu, then read the RF Module Installation Guide.
Be warned - some of the companies that use the V2x2 protocol tend to fuss with protocol between models, or even between versions of the same model. So buying a new one of something that works may not get you something that works. I have no idea how jjrc is about that.
