Devo 10 - New Firmware Update - No Multirotor Mode

Hi guys,

Please excuse me as I'm literally brand new onto the scene of RC and Multi's, but after having a heart attack that I'd bricked my brand new Devo 10, I have since revived it and updated the firmware and added the libraries. However when I turn it back on, I am unable to select multirotor as a model type. It is only showing Heli and Plane.

Have I missed a step, or a file somewhere.

Any help greatly appreciated.

Did you install 4.0.1 by any chance? That doesn't have multirotor mode.

It would appear that this is my problem...

What version has multirotor mode?

You know you don't actually need multirotor mode right? Plane mode and multirotor mode are the same things.

I wasn't aware, but cheers CK.

That makes it a lot easier.

Well, almost the same - multirotor mode has it's own icon :-).

For that matter, heli also works, except it adds options specific to older helicopters that just confuse people, and the ability to turn on the standard gui - which is even worse. Part of the reason for adding multi was to keep people from getting confused when the set it to "heli" a a more likely choice than "Plane".
