NRF24L01 pin header replacement was created by Arnold
What is the best way to remove the existing pin header on this module so I can replace it witl a 90 degree version?

Grip the plastic pin spacer with some pliers, wiggle and pull it straight off of the pins, ....or you can clip it in sections from the pins with wire cutters.

Remove pins one at a time with soldering iron.

Use solder wick, ....or a solder sucker, ....or the molten solder tapping technique(slap method).

If the situation allows you can sometimes convert straight headers into 90's with a little judicious bending. Might be worth giving it a try before hassling with removal.

I could see that working with single row pins, but I doubt that would work with double row pins like those on the nRF24L01 transceiver, as the resulting upper pins would then be too short to engage with the mating plug.

It's not that difficult to remove the 2x4 set of straight pins and solder in a set of 90* pins. If I can do it successfully, ...pretty much anybody could do it too !!!

Yeah, I clipped off the legs, then desoldered them out. I've cleared 3 holes, so far; the remaining 5 are being obstinate - but I'll get 'em. Thanks for the guidance.
